Ted Ostrowski Memorial Doubles Championship

Ted Ostrowski recently passed away at the age of 82. Ted loved table tennis and we loved Ted and will all miss him very much.

We would like to honor and remember Ted by inviting you, and a friend, to join us and compete in the Ted Ostrowski Memorial Table Tennis Doubles Championship Tournament on Saturday, May 31 at The Long Center in Clearwater.

Ted especially loved playing doubles, and have we got doubles for you!! CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLES, CHALLENGER DOUBLES, INTERMEDIATE DOUBLES, BEGINNERS DOUBLES, SENIOR DOUBLES AND MIXED DOUBLES, there’s an event for you and a friend! These will be giant round robin events.

USATT rating (or estimated rating as determined by the tournament committee) will be used to determine a team’s placement within a particular division. We listened to you and reduced the size of each division to a maximum of 10 teams:

Events:
Championship doubles
Challenger doubles
Intermediate doubles
Beginners doubles
Senior doubles (over 50 years)
Mixed doubles

Entry fees:
Championship- $50 per team
Challenger, Intermediate & Beginner- $40 per team
Seniors- $30
Mixed- $25

Prizes:
Championship Doubles $400/$200/$100
Challenger Doubles $200/$100/$75
Intermediate Doubles $100/$50
Beginner Doubles $/TBD
Medals for all finalists and semifinalists
