Although I enjoyed table tennis recreationally throughout my life, I didn’t begin pursuing the sport seriously until my late twenties. Since then, it has become a passion, leading to years of dedicated training, competition, coaching, and continual learning.
I’ve had the privilege of training under and assisting USATT and ITTF Certified Coach Gary Fraiman, whose knowledge, dedication, and passion for teaching have had a tremendous influence on my development as both a player and a coach. Through Gary’s mentorship and my years at Sunrise Table Tennis Club, I’ve learned through countless practice sessions, coaching opportunities, tournaments, and advanced training camps.
In addition to coaching at Sunrise Table Tennis Club, I also coach at St. Pete Athletic, where I work with players of all ages and skill levels.
I’m incredibly grateful to Sunrise Table Tennis Club for the opportunities it has provided over the years. The club has played a significant role in my growth as both a player and a coach, and it’s a privilege to now give back by helping others develop their own game.
Because I began training seriously as an adult, I understand both the challenges and the rewards of learning the game later in life. I enjoy helping players of all ages progress at their own pace.
My coaching philosophy is simple: create a positive, encouraging environment where players build strong fundamentals, gain confidence, and continue improving over time. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or preparing for tournament competition, I enjoy helping players improve their technique, footwork, serves and receives, match play, and overall understanding of the game.
Table tennis has introduced me to incredible coaches, training partners, students, and friends, and I look forward to helping others discover the same enjoyment and appreciation for the sport.
As both a coach and a student of the game, I believe there’s always something new to learn, and I strive to help every player enjoy the journey of continual improvement.
