Page Harris takes first place in Central Florida Table Tennis tournament!
26 players came out for the Spooktacular October Clash event! 16 players battled it out in the “Pros” division to try to secure spots in the season ending Clash of Champions Invitational tournament tentatively scheduled for Saturday, December 16th at the Long Center. In the end, former Florida State champion Kit Jeerapaet took the gold medal in a beautiful match with Jordan Garth. Khai Chu beat Amjad Mehboob for the bronze medal. These four secured their spots in the Champion’s field.
In the “Joes” division, Al Cordero was the gold medal winner and Jasper Law took the silver. Bronze medal winners were the father-son pair of Abhishek and Dhruv Gupta.
The field is now nearly set for the Clash of Champions Invitational. Those already securing their spots are: Kit Jeerapaet, Jordan Garth, Khai Chu, Amjad Mehboob, Felipe Ruiz, Artemis Artem Pushkarev , Andrei Barkouski , Fahad Zaman, Conrad Fisher, Dan Marigoni and last year’s defending champion Mark Frisman !
There will be at least two divisions in this year’s tournament series finale, the Clash of Champions field, the Joes and a third division depending on the size of the turnout. Please be on time, as that really helps us start and finish on time!
Kim Adams brought home the gold in both women’s singles and doubles at the Gainesville Florida Senior Games
2023 Gainesville Senior Games: John Reynolds, gold in men’s 70-74 doubles. Doug Wilcock won the bronze in the 60-64 men’s singles and paired with Conrad Fisher to take the silver in the 60-64 men’s doubles. Conrad won the gold in the men’s 65-69 singles.

In the Joe’s division, Sammy Alkudski beat Dan Beck in pool play to go undefeated and then beat him again in the finals to finish off a perfect 7-0 afternoon.In the “Pros” division Felipe Ruiz took the gold medal and the top cash prize beating Conrad Fisher playing in his first Clash finals. Fahad Zaman continued to show steady improvement, taking the bronze.
